These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of SafeBuildAlliance.com, the SafeBuild mobile app, and all related platforms
and services (collectively, the “Services”), including those provided through Wild Apricot and Personify.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who We Are

SafeBuild Alliance is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit corporation focused on improving safety culture in the
construction and related industries. SafeBuild Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) charitable
organization. Together, these entities are referred to in these Terms as “SafeBuild,” “we,” “our,” or “us.”

2. Services We Provide

Through our website, mobile app, and membership platforms, we provide:

• Membership management and renewals
• Event registration and payment processing
• Sponsorship opportunities and related transactions
• Educational and safety-related content
• Industry resources and best-practice sharing
• Access to brand materials and organizational documents
• Community engagement through meetings, programs, and networking opportunities

Payments and membership functions may be processed through Wild Apricot / Personify and their
associated payment processors.

3. Safety and Information Disclaimer

SafeBuild facilitates information-sharing among industry professionals. We provide a forum for members and partners
to share what has worked and what has not in their own workplaces.

SafeBuild does not provide legal, technical, or regulatory advice. All safety recommendations,
presentations, discussions, resources, and shared materials available through our Services are:

• For educational and informational purposes only
• Not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current
• Not a substitute for professional guidance, audits, or regulatory compliance obligations

You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any information before implementing it in your workplace or
organization. You should consult with appropriate professionals (such as safety consultants, legal counsel, or
regulatory agencies) before acting on any information obtained through SafeBuild.

SafeBuild assumes no liability for actions taken or not taken based on information obtained through
our website, app, events, or member interactions.

4. Memberships, Payments, and Refunds

SafeBuild offers paid memberships and sponsorship opportunities. Some memberships may be set to automatically renew
depending on the membership type and user choices within Wild Apricot / Personify.

By purchasing a membership, sponsorship, event registration, or promotional item, you acknowledge and agree to our
Refund Policy, which states that all fees are non-refundable.

5. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Services, you may be required to create an account through Wild Apricot, the
SafeBuild mobile app, or related platforms.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating or updating your account
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Promptly notify SafeBuild of any unauthorized use of your account

SafeBuild may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion if we believe you have
violated these Terms or engaged in improper conduct.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or SafeBuild representatives
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to breach, test, or circumvent security features
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data using automated means without our prior written consent
• Distribute spam, solicitations, or other unauthorized commercial communications
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Misuse the SafeBuild name, brand, or logos

We reserve the right to remove content, restrict access, or take other appropriate action in response to violations
of this section.

7. Intellectual Property

All content made available through the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images,
videos, documents, and other materials, is the property of SafeBuild or its content providers and is protected by
copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute content without prior written permission
• Use SafeBuild’s logos, trademarks, or branding without explicit written authorization
• Claim any ownership or authorship of SafeBuild content or materials

Limited, non-exclusive use may be granted to members for internal, educational purposes with proper attribution and
subject to any additional terms communicated by SafeBuild.

8. Third-Party Platforms and Links

Our Services may include integrations with, or links to, third-party platforms such as:

• Wild Apricot
• Personify
• Constant Contact
• Google Analytics
• Event partners, sponsors, and other external sites

SafeBuild is not responsible for the content, security practices, privacy policies, or availability of any third-party
sites or services. Accessing third-party platforms is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafeBuild and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related
to your use of the Services.

Without limiting the foregoing, SafeBuild is not responsible for:

• Errors or omissions in any content or materials
• Any actions taken or not taken in reliance on information obtained through the Services
• Any interruptions, delays, or failures in the operation of the Services

Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services is to stop using the Services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its
conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services
will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Oregon.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this
page. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
